Towanda, Pa. — Laurel Health’s dental team is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Levi Upham to the Laurel Dental Towanda office, 346 York Ave. Dr. Upham provides comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages through diagnostic evaluations and preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Upham’s services include tooth and gum treatments, fillings, crowns, bridges, endodontics, oral surgery, and dental healthcare education.
Passionate about increasing access to dental services in rural areas, Dr. Upham sought to give back to his home community through dentistry.
“I enjoy building relationships with patients and working together to form the best treatment plan to help them be as healthy as possible. I like to teach others about the caries process — how decay forms in teeth — and how to prevent it, including the role of nutrition in supporting dental health and proper brushing and flossing techniques,” Dr. Upham shared. “It feels so good to see treatment plans succeed where patients are now happy to smile for all to see.”
Dr. Upham earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University in State College, Pa., and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, N.Y. He completed his residency at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
In his free time, Dr. Upham enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, trail running, skiing, archery, fishing, and farming.
